Paying money to vote, the typical Mediacorp style

I just fail to understand it. Which idiot would pay money to vote? I am talking about the Mediacorp Singapore radio Awards. Imagine. They want you to choose your favourite radio personality but you have to pay to vote. What kind of bloody money grubbing business is this? Group of money-faced, cunning bastards. Why guys? Not enough money to pay the bills is it?

The Maid. It should have been named The Disaster

Here we go again. Mediacorp trying to show that it is serious when it comes to making pictures. Their latest picture, The Maid, has got to be one of the stupidest things to ever come out of the Mediacorp stables. $8 to pay to watch such crap. The story is flimsy, the sound-effects terrible and … and … but its Mediacorp. It is in their nature to make such crap like this. Great going guys. Once again, you have proved the popular adage true. Just when you think you cannot do anything more stupid, you come out and totally redeem yourself.

Food. Is that all you can think about Mediacorp?

Oh God, not another one. You know that stupid Coffee Talk and Hawker Woks? Well, based on the supposedly “rave” reviews, they decided to make another one. How about that folks? Mediacorp Brain Drain again! Damn! I should be a poet!

In this one, Tan Kheng Hua plays the same role as that short bitch and takes people around to sample food. Is that all you can think about Mediacorp? Or are you going to be like the Straits Times and look for people with big boobs (like they were doing when they still owned Channel U). Please you guys, wake up already! Try something new for a fucking change!

Villa Wellness. Here we go folks. Another one. Sheesh!

What the heck is going on with the media in Singapore? It is not only the local shows that try to ape western shows but when they do so, it turns out to be the worse rather than for the better. Now here we have this. Villa Wellness. About some people that go to a spa for Singapore's own version of Extreme Makeover, with some dumbass saying to contestants that they "look like bananas." What the fuck are you doing Mediacorp? Run out of original ideas? Trying to be like the others? Oh I forgot. This is Singapore where there are a dearth of creative people with original ideas and Mediacorp Singapore is no exception. And this is what we pay that 100 odd dollars every year for….fucking trash.
