Is this Uncle Terence for real?

Sometimes, one has got no choice but to listen to music on the telephone when one is put on hold. That is what happened to me the other day. The company I was calling had its “hold” music as the local Gold 90 FM radio station. There was an advertisement on it about their podcasts and I keep hearing this Uncle Terence character. I last heard him some years ago and don’t tell me that they are still harping about this old man, if he does exist? I have a funny feeling that he is a conjured figure just to add that element of “old-gold.” And yeah, I can almost believe this old dude that calls Gold 90 religiously everyday. Pah.

Baihakki and those other idiots

Did you see the video on YouTube about these jokers making fun of the National Day Parade and all? They were revealed today and would you believe that these guys are all NATIONAL footballers? People who are paid by the Nation to make fun of them? All the more I have lost my respect for Singapore soccer. These guys should be dropped by the team. It is bad enough to bring embarrassment to Singapore soccer by the way in which they play. It is another thing to embarrass Singapore even further by such stupid acts that make a parody of a Nation that put their trust in them as National Footballers. Baihakki, you should be court-martialed for that. Plus he says that he did not intend to distribute it widely. Yeah right.
